POLICIES
Reservations and Cancellations
Ours is a small resort, so reservation and cancellation policies are very
important. Please read these carefully.
• Generally, a minimum of two nights stay is required;
however, three nights are needed the weekends of Memorial Day, Labor Day,
and Thanksgiving.
• A deposit of one-half your charge is required when
reservations are made except for one-night stays, which require payment in
full. Balance of payment is due upon arrival by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
• Any refund will be less a $25 service charge if notice
of cancellation or change of dates is received at least 14 days in advance.
There is NO refund of deposit within the last 14 days. For holiday cancellations more than 14 days in advance, the service fee is $50.
• Please reserve only the time you intend to be at
Hidden Hollow. You will be charged for the entire period reserved regardless
of late arrival or early departure.
• If you rent more than one unit, there is NO refund
unless you inform us eight weeks before arrival date, in which event there
is only a 50% refund. When the entire facilities are rented there is no refund
at any time.
• There is a $30 fee for returned checks.
• Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00
am. Please notify us if you will be arriving after 6:00 pm.
Other policies
• The cabins are non-smoking, and pets are not allowed.
• While very informal, comfortable sports clothes are
the order of the day at Hidden Hollow, we do ask that men not go bare-chested
on the grounds unless sunbathing on the lake.
• We ask that you be considerate of other guests and
keep radios, etc. at a level for your own enjoyment. While we sometimes have
group parties in our Music Hall, we try not to let them last too late into
the night.
• If you expect non-registered persons to visit you,
please remember that when a cabin is rented to a certain number of people,
that is the number that is expected. If you have guests or friends for more
than 15-20 minutes, you will need to pay $8 a day for each one.
• Please remember that there are hazards associated
with such country places and you are responsible for your own welfare and
that of any children who accompany you. The registration form you sign when
checking in includes a "Release of Responsibility" statement.
